So we don't have any new pictures right now, but hopefully soon. There has been a lot going on around here.

First, we painted our shutters about 2 months ago. We have had mixed feelings about the color. I was going for a burnt orange. There were a couple other houses in our neighborhood that had shutters and a front door that I liked. When we got the color up, it was much more orange (almost rust like) than I wanted. I think part of the problem is our siding is much lighter than the houses I had liked. Anyway, we kept them up and were going to see if we got used to it, but no such luck. We are now looking at different variations of the color and this time will get some samples and try a little area first.

Second, I have been busy studying for a certification exam for work. It is specific to Operating Room nurses. It was a lot of work, but I am glad I did it and am happy to say I passed!

Finally, next week we are going to Camp Forest Springs for family camp. We went 2 years ago when Anna was a baby. It will be fun for Anna to see where Daddy spent most of his childhood.
