Planes-
This last weekend Todd and Anna went to Illinois to visit his family while I worked. Instead of driving in the car just the 2 of them for 6 hours there and 6 hours back, they checked into airfare, and it really wasn't too bad. We had flown with Anna when she was 18 months when we went to Florida. I didn't think it was too bad- Todd did not ever want to do that again. However, that flight is about 3 1/2 hours and she was much younger then, so I think this time, he considered her age, the much shorter flight, and the fact that at least he wouldn't be in a car 12 hours in a weekend. So, Friday evening I dropped them off at the airport and said goodbye. It was kind of hard because even though they weren't going to be gone long and I was going to busy most of the time, part of me wanted to go with just to see her experience with it. Todd said everything went great (she might even be easier to travel with than me!). The pictures are not the greatest because they are from our phones.
Trains-
Anna has riden the LRT quite a few times and really likes it. She knows that the stop we get on at is right by the MOA and she mentions it everytime we are near there. Sometimes she wants to ride it for no reason at all except just for fun. Here is a picture of her and her friend Parker on the train when we went to visit Target Field for the first time last Spring.

Automobiles-
No, Anna is not driving yet, although here is a cute picture of her from a while back hanging out in my sister's car. She does like to backseat drive though. She understands the concept of red lights and stopping but not fully the turning arrows, so from time to time she has told me that I have gone through a red light even though I haven't. She also likes to ask questions about any and everything. In my car she sits in the middle and a little higher up, so she can really see out the front. We'll have to move her to the side though when we put 2 carseats in. We'll see how she likes that.
