Anna and I have been doing some shopping lately and have found some good bargains. We have hit up some neighborhood garage sales and a kids consignment sale. I was able to find a few outfits for the baby at good prices. I wasn't really looking for toys, but I kind of wanted to find a used swing. We didn't have one for Anna, but I thought it might be nice this time. I was able to get one for $5. Talk about a steal! An even better deal was the free double stroller I got from a friend I met through a mom's group I am in. The only problem is it doesn't really fit in the back of my car (is it time for a mini-van? I hope not). Oh, and Anna got a new toy at a sale. She had been playing on this sit and spin thing while I looked around. She was having a blast on it, and it was only $4, so I asked her if she wanted me to buy it. She said, "can we take it home?" I said yes. Then she said, "do we have to give it back?" I said no. Then she said, "thank you so much Mommy. This is awesome!" I guess I don't get her things too often.
So some things we haven't bought yet but have been looking at are nursery decor. At first we thought we would do a sports theme. But, then I saw this cute blanket and thought maybe the brown would go nice with the green we have on the wall already. I'm not sure yet. We'll see.

Is the bedding from Penney's? I saw something similar to that in a magazine today and thought to myself that I could see us using that bedding someday if we have a boy!!! funny!!! it's super cute! :)
Purple & Gold would be nice.
I saw the blanket at Baby Depot in burlington coat factory, but then I went online and saw that is a whole set that you can buy at many stores.
We are not doing purple and gold!!!
