Simon is 2 months old already. I can't believe it. I'll probably say that every month until he is a year- and maybe even after. The time does go by so fast though. It seems like that last couple months we have been focusing so much on the feedings, the sleeping (and sometimes lack of), and schedule in general. However, the last couple weeks, it has been fun to just kind of sit back and watch as Simon is now smiling and has giggled once or twice, and makes all sorts of cute cooing noises. He has not really officially slept through the night, but he has had a few 5 and 6 hour nights, and one 8 hour but it was from 8pm - 4am, so that is why I don't say through the night. His cold is gone, and I am so glad.
Here are a couple more cute pictures (taken again from my phone so not the best) that we sent to Todd the other night when he was in LA for work.
Oh, and his appt yesterday,
he weighed- 11 lbs 2 oz (was 6 lbs 10 oz at birth)
and was 24in long (was 19 1/2 at birth)
I don't get as concerned about percentages- probably because my kids always start off on the lower side. Our dr says it is more important if they stay consistent and don't have any huge drops or gains.
He also got 2 shots and an oral vaccine. Poor baby!
