I started packing today. You might ask, "for what?" We are going to Illinois for a long weekend, and this time we are flying. No, it wasn't that bad when we traveled with the 2 kids before, but airfare is so cheap to Chicago or Milwaukee (where we are going) we thought we would do it. Todd and Anna did it back in September and it worked out really well. The flight is quick and they just carried on so they wouldn't have to check baggage. This time though, we have an infant. Now, friends of ours took (they are there now) their baby to Europe (can't wait to hear about it), so I'm sure we can do it. We won't be bringing the stroller or anything because once we are there, Todd's parents have everything we need. However, this may make it tricky on the way home when Todd is flying out earlier to go to LA for a work meeting, and I will be with the 2 kids. I won't really be alone though because Todd's brother Steve works for the Milwaukee airport and can help me through security etc.
Let's hope this all goes well because we (Anna, Simon, my Dad and me) are flying to Georgia the end of the month.
