Don't you just love playdates? I think they are really for the Moms as much as for the kids (maybe us even more). Yesterday I met up with some friends from work and their kids at the Eagles Nest. I had never been there (we usually go to Edinborough), but it was really fun. The kids got to climb and slide and jump for a couple hours while us girls got to do what we love best- talk.
Then last night I met up with some lovely ladies from church at Bonfire for a delicious dinner. Beth- who organized it called it Softball Wives Strike Back because our husbands all play together on a softball league every Friday in the summer and we don't get to go out because we have the kids. So, this was our chance.
If these 2 wonderful outings weren't enough, this morning I got to go to a MOPS get together at Jensen's Cafe. It was again very delicious.
I have such a wonderful husband. It was a nice break and good chance to be a woman and friend instead of just a mom and wife. Don't get me wrong, I love being a mom and wife- and I better get back to being both right now. Until later-
