Brrr

Brrr That is all I can say about last week/weekend. I know every year usually in January we get a stretch like that, but I am just never prepared for it. I always say, "why do we live here?" Well, the cold, and Anna's cold kept us inside most of the time. Here are some of the things we did.

Paint- (look for a future post about my painting project)




"Bike"- this was one of Anna's Christmas gifts, and she loves it! We also like it because it is good practice for riding her real bike next summer and she is learning numbers and letters too.



And have movie night



I dug this out of my parent's cupboard and had to dust it off a bit, but it made it more fun!



You may wonder what Simon has been up to- well,

Eating. I have him on a pretty good schedule during the day of every 3 hours and I let him go however long at night (we've had several 4 hour stretches- hoping for 5 soon)
Sleeping. He is getting better and better at sleeping in his criband "putting" himself down to sleep. It is hard because we are often out and about and he sleeps in the carseat.
Pooping. although not too bad or often. He does still pass a lot of gas and man can it be loud and stinky!
And growing. We haven't had an official weight check because we don't go in until he is 2 months, but from me stepping on the scale with him, I would estimate he is about 11 pounds. And as you can see from these pictures, he is really holding his head up good.
