Busy, Busy, Busy

If your life is anything like ours, I'm sure it is busy. Lately we have had so much going on. I think as Minnesotans we are stuck indoors so much in the winter that as soon as it starts to get nice, we plan everything and get so busy. Todd started church softball again. I'm glad he has something to get him outdoors, hanging with the guys, and getting a little exercise. We're hoping to make it to a few of the games that are earlier in the evening (Simon and Anna go to bed about 7:30). He also was busy this last week working in the yard and taking the pool cover off. The ducks are happy and have been swimming a little. We also saw a raccoon trying to crawl in and get a drink tonight. We weren't too happy about that. We think we may already have a leak, and we don't want some critter scratching up the liner anymore. I've had a couple 12 hour shifts lately. I was suppose to have mostly those (2 a week), but it seemed like I had a lot of weeks with three 8 hour shifts instead. I guess it doesn't really matter too much. I like getting off at 3pm instead of 7pm, but I also like only going in 2 days a week. This weekend we had family in town, and that was really nice. Now, we are getting ready for another week in which I will be having a garage sale with a friend (at her house though).

Oh, before I forget. Even though we didn't participate in the watching of the royal ceremony, there has been a lot of wedding talk lately. Todd's sister Sara (yes, my sister's name is Sarah also) is getting married June 11th, and Anna is the flower girl. My sister is getting married Nov 4th, and Anna is her flower girl too. I'm a little nervous about how she will do because she doesn't always like a lot of attention. When Sara was here, one night we stayed up late talking wedding stuff and we got out the video from Todd and my wedding. Talk about a walk down memory lane! Anyway, we thought that maybe that would be good to show Anna- especially the part of my flower girl. So, we did, and she thought it was really cool and liked it. Hopefully that will help. We also have played dress up, and Anna got to wear her own "wedding" dress.
