I must say we really did have a great labor day weekend. Even with me working until 7 on Friday, we were able to take in a FULL 3 1/2 days. It started when Todd and the kids picked me up at work and we drove to the cabin. This was actually the first and probably only time we had been up there this summer. That place brings back a lot of memories, and now we are creating them. You can see the pictures of Anna fishing (it seemed like everytime we put the pole in, we got a bite). She and I also went canoeing (it was a fun challenge to try to go straight while she "paddled" with me). We also had a campfire and enjoyed playing in the tent (maybe next year we'll sleep in it). We stayed through Sunday afternoon when we got home and relaxed some more.
Then Monday, Labor Day, we packed a picnic lunch and went to Minnehaha falls. We had a great time "hiking" and enjoying family time. Here are a few more pictures.
