So, I'm sure many of you are saying, "I thought it could be any day now for a while." Well, with a baby, you never really know. I didn't have my hopes up (until now) the last few weeks because I knew how things were with Anna. Yes, I have been preparing for labor for a while now and off work as a precaution, but I didn't think anything would happen (until now). I really wasn't ready (until now) and wanted him (still not sure on the name) to stay put (until now). HOWEVER, things have changed. The last few days I have been more and more uncomfortable. I don't know if I mentioned it, but I got sick with what Anna had- not fun. AND, (until now)I haven't really felt the contractions, but now I have had a couple episodes where they have been painful enough and lasting almost long enough to go to the hospital. Anyway, incase you didn't figure it out, I am ready. My bags are packed, my parents are on standby, and I may just even go sit at the McDonalds on Lake Street so I am ready to go to Abbott when the time comes.
No, I'm just kidding. Technically, I am only 36 weeks and of course every day and week helps, but it isn't exactly fun waiting and wondering. Oh, and I suppose I should mention that my midwife is also expecting me any day now. I was dilated to 4-5cm at my appointment today, so we'll see, and we'll keep you updated.

Yay.....you made it further than me already! Hope you have him soon and that he is healthy and amazing. Oh and that your labor goes quick and smoothly....ie...don't end up delivering at home because you went too quickly like me!
Oh my gosh, you are that dialated! I hope it happens soon, you are soo lucky if it does! can't wait to hear the news!
