Birthdays

Here is a picture of my cutie pie on his 3 month birthday!

His personality is really coming out. He has been smiling and cooing for a while, but lately we have been getting more laughs out of him. He has also discovered his hands and is constantly sucking on his fingers. Neither of my kids have really been pacifier babies. Anna took to her blanket pretty quick, but maybe Simon will be a thumb sucker. He will also hold onto blankets and bring those to his mouth. We are going to have to watch out!

He won't get a height and weight check until next month, but I just started putting away the 3 month clothes and am getting out the 3-6 month ones.


Someone else had a birthday this past week. Me. I turned 29! Next year is the big one. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture, but for my birthday, Todd and I went out with 2 other couples from church. The cool thing is the other 2 girls have the same birthday as me. So, we all went to Enjoy! and had a delicious dinner and some free wine. If you eat there the week of your birthday, they give you a bottle worth the age you are. We were hoping we could all get one since it was all of our birthdays, but they only allowed one per table. Oh, well. It was such a nice/fun time. Can't wait to do it again next year.
