I love my Target

So, you've probably seen those I love (heart) my Cub signs on people's car windows or bumpers. I personally have always thought they were stupid. Maybe that is because I don't "heart" Cub. But, I do "heart" Target. I don't really need to give you all my reasons- although I am going to. If I just say that I shop there at least once, more like twice, and even sometimes three times a week, that will probably be enough to prove it. Although, there is more:

First, even though I don't usually shop for clothes when I am there (more like groceries, toiletries, home items etc.), it is very organized and neat when I do. The other night, I happened to be at Kohl's with the family and Todd was looking for some clothes. I am not really wanting to buy a lot or spend much right now as I hope to lose some more weight (that is another post), but I thought a would just quickly peruse the clearance racks. When I got in the dressing room (which is always messy because they never have anyone working there), I realized that 3 of the 5 things I was going to try on were the wrong size because they were on hangers that had the wrong size on it. How annoying! I don't think that has ever happened at Target. Now, to be fair, Kohl's does have some pretty good sale prices and when you combine it with a 15, 20, or 30% off, it is even better.

Number 2: as I mentioned in number 1, I can get almost everything I need in one store. I guess Walmart has that too, but I don't even want to get into my issues with that store.

Third, can you say 5% off everytime with your Target Redcard or Visa? Plus, when your points add up, you get another 5% shopping day on top of the other 5%. The last time I was at Target, the check out lady mentioned to the customer that she could get the 5% off by using/opening a Target card. You know the schpeel. I used to have to give it when I worked at Mervyns (did I just date myself?). Anyway, I don't remember all what the customer said, but at the end, she said something about it isn't that much. Umm, hello! Maybe she doesn't shop there as much as me, and maybe miraculously, she is able to come out of the store with less than $100, but it still adds up. I know there are good reasons for not having credit cards, but if you are going to use one, why not save $.

Alright- you get the idea- I have many other reasons for loving Target. If they made I heart my Target signs, I would definitely have one!

I love Target too, but ours aren't as nice as yours. I wish I could get all my groceries there. I'm assuming you know this but they have pretty good Target coupons on their site that you can stack with other coupons out of the paper. These can make for some pretty awesome deals!!

Target = LOVE. Noel just laughs at me because he says I let out a happy sigh whenever I drive by one :) The best thing (not for my wallet) is that they just built a Super Target 10 min. away from me a few months ago. I REFUSE to shop at Walmart because I have bad experiences there whenever I go.
